Also in Allmann`s “permutation.” series he blurs the line between painting and photography art. Lights become colours, the camera the brush. In his images there is break with photographic tradition, a shifting impression, yet the reality remains of a specific moment captured in a photograph. There is an exactness in his technique which somehow also allows for uncertainties and ambiguities, a kind of routine out of vagueness.
